When three 7-Eleven clerks suspected a man of stealing, they decided to take matters into their own hands to detain him. In the process, they strip the man nearly naked. One man can even be seen biting the suspected thief on the back. What’s more disturbing is that onlookers were heard laughing, and acting as if the scene was entertainment. If you haven’t heard about this case, watch the video below:
A representative of 7-Eleven told ABC News the following:
“7-Eleven, Inc. does not condone restraining any guest/customer or a suspect. As a matter of fact, this is an important precept of 7-Eleven’s safety and security training we give franchisees and provide for them to give their employees,” the company said in a statement to ABCNews.com.

After all was said and done, police charged 29-year-old David Golson with robbery, assault, criminal mischief and criminal possession of stolen property. Despite their assault of this man, none of the 7-Eleven employees was arrested because the man supposedly attacked them first.
What do you think? Were the 7-Eleven employees justified in their actions? If not, should they be charged with assault?
