I’ve recommended this lecture by actress, Thandie Newton, time and time again. In my opinion, everyone needs to see it because it addresses a dynamic that all of us as social creatures must face — the concept of “the self” and how it shapes out interactions with others and the world around us.

Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room (Review)

The documentary consists of a compilation of interviews and narratives that chronicle the rise and fall of the Texas-based energy company, Enron. I recommend that everyone see this movie because it is an excellent example of corporate greed and corruption.
