The Nuban people take cover anywhere they can on steep mountainsides each time the North Sudanese military’s Russian Antonov aircraft continues with its relentless bombing of the Nuba Mountains. Hundreds of civilians have been killed since June in the government’s attempt to shut down the rebel movement.
