Shellie Zimmerman Arrested For Perjury For Lies During Bond Hearing!!!

This afternoon, a Capias was issued for Shellie Zimmerman, who was arrested a short time later for for perjury in connection with lies she told about the money she and her husband, George Zimmerman, had available to them at the time of his bond hearing on April 20th. According to the Capias, “On April 20, 2012, Shellie N. Zimmerman, did knowingly make a false statement, which she did not believe to be true, under oath in an official proceeding…”

According to Florida law, “whoever makes a false statement, which he or she does not believe to be true, under oath in an official proceeding in regard to any material matter, commits a felony of the third degree.”

Shellie Zimmerman transfered tens of thousands of dollars donated through her husband’s website to other accounts. She transferred over $74,000 from GZ’s account to hers from April 16 to April 19. She transfered $9,990 four times and $9,999 twice. Two other transfers were for the amount of $7,500.

From April 16 to April 17, George Zimmerman’s sister transferred more than 47,000 to his account. After George Zimmerman’s release on April 24th, $85,000 was transferred back to George Zimmerman’s account.

George Zimmerman’s bond was revoked as a result of these lies, and we now see his wife facing charges for the same.
